14th and December 15th, the Polish city of Wisla has hosted the first meeting organized by WOSPAC Coach in Poland for football coaches in collaboration with Rafal Legierski.
30 coaches participated in workshops of education and training, for 2 days, where Basel Bawab, head of WOSPAC Coaches and instructor associated with the Catalan Football Federation (FCF) presented the methodology of Catalan football at the initiation stage (8- 13 years old). A new vision for the future development of football players and Polish coaches.
Basel Bawab, our coach, told that WOSPAC COACH is responsible, at all times, with the invaluable assistance of the Director of WOSPAC Poland, Rafal Legierski and translator, Iweta Gazur in the fantastic hall of Hotel Golebiewski.
Learning the “Spanish”
During the two days of presentation WOSPAC showed their unconditional commitment to develop and form, with the methodologies of the big clubs in Barcelona, Polish coaches and athletes who are mainly related to the world of football. Learning that has been dubbed the “Spanish”, given the successes of the Spanish teams in recent decades.
Rafal Legierski, primarily responsible for the connection between Spain and Poland, pleaded very satisfied with this first proposal: “The idea of organizing this formation meeting arose during my first visit to Barcelona WOSPAC. It was there that I could get to learn about the methodology of coaching in Spain. And then I thought it would be nice to bring these ideas and ways of working to Poland and our football. And so we have, thanks to Basel of WOSPAC. Today we are doing this fantastic training! “. Moreover, Legierski added: “We will continue working together. We are planning and developing a nationwide project. We organize courses of one week for coaches and a campus for kids. All with the participation and help of Spanish coaches. A professional and international project”.
An enriching experience for our responsible of WOSPAC and WOSPAC Coach, Basel Bawab, who first visited the Polish country. We hope to return soon!
