Jordan international player and currently player of Steaua of Bucharest, most successful team of the Romanian football and European champion in 1986 against FC Barcelona, Thaer Al Bawab visited the facilities of WOSPAC to learn more about the projects that we are undertaking, as well as the training methods.
Also took the opportunity to meet the guys who are living in our residence facility and are developing their football skills within our sport programs of WOSPAC Stages. Also signed us the new equipment that the players of WOSPAC will be wearing from now on.
Thaer Bawab, was formed in the youth teams of UE Cornellà where in their U-19 was a succesful goal scorer, later played for the two most important Spanish football teams, firstly in Real Madrid where he was considered one of its most promising youth talent and then with FC Barcelona second team when it was in the Spanish second Division.
His career in Spain is complemented by playing for CE L’Hospitalet, CD Alfaro and Moratalla CF until he decided to try his luck in the Romanian football where his good appearences with Gaz Metan and later with Universitatea Craiova, have earned him to sign this week by the greatest Romanian Club, Steaua Bucharest, which is 6 points below the leader after 23 game weeks.
From WOSPAC we want to wish Thaer good luck in his new soccer adventure and look forward to score the maximum possible goals to bring Steaua back to be champion of Romania.
