Talking about success stories at WOSPAC is becoming more and more common. This time, we’re discussing Simeon Nikolov, a Bulgarian player who is 18 years old and has been training in the WOSPAC Stages programmes for more than three years. Recently, he has signed a contract with Grumellese Calcio, a team from Serie D Italy.
“Symo” arrived at the age of Cadete (U16) to become a player at UD Bellvitge, where he soon showed his quality as a midfielder and his ability to pose an attacking threat. In his second year, Nikolov got himself a place in the Juvenil of UE Cornella where he improved quite notably, gaining an advantage by being part of WOSPAC’s technification morning trainings.
In his last year in Barcelona, the Bulgarian footballer signed with L’Hospitalet finding a place in the starting 11. A unique 3 year experience where Symo grew both as an athlete and as a person. An experience which he has now finished the chapter on, but for a good reason. The chance to travel to Italy to play in Serie D
We are very proud of being about tell real stories about the players who put their trust in WOSPAC for their sporting and educational development that help their reach their goals, to become professional athletes. Best of luck Symo, enjoy and never stop learning!
