Adam Ozeri, 18 year old American player, trained by both WOSPAC and UE Cornella has signed his first professional contract with the Peruvian Alianza Lima for what’s left of the year. Ozeri arrived in Peru to join the second team to gain experience and get the call up to the first team and making his intentions very clear: “I’ve come here the with idea of making an impact in Alianza. I’m going to work really hard in the reserve team, and later on, if the coaching staff lets me, play with the first team, that would be excellent. All I have to do is work really hard and win my place.”
Adam Ozeri played in UE Cornella’s Cadete E, and this is where he really stood out. The American, who plays as an attacking midfielder was the maximum scorer in his team two seasons ago, demonstrating his innate ability to reach the rival’s box and finish. The 24 goals Ozeri scored helped the team become champions of Group 28 in the 2nd division of Cadete. His stay in SPAIN was complimented with WOSPAC’s technification training programme, where, alongside other boys from all over the world, achieved an evidently better and greater performance on the playing field. He was then called up for the national team of the United States, something that now is very habitual.
Not much longer than a season ago, Ozeri left Barcelona to go to Argentina to train at Racing de Avellaneda, to then later go on to sign for Banfield. It was at the training with the Argentinian club where Gustavo Zevallos got to take a look at him and he had no doubts in calling him to become a part of the winning side.
From WOSPAC we wish the best for Adam Ozeri in his new footballing adventure and we hope that he becomes as successful as he very much deserves to be. Keep fighting and striving to achieve all of your goals. Good luck mate!
