Last week, our program for trainers, WOSPAC Coach, received Lea Westlake of United States, that will be learning methods of work from the UE Cornellà and the philosophy that is implemented in the club.
Lea is currently the coaching director of the New Orleans Spartans FC, from New Orleans, USA, as well as the first coach of the U-13 and U-12 teams. Throughout these 3 weeks, Lea will have the opportunity to be part of the coaching staff of the U-19 Team of the UE Cornellà helping in the training sessions and being part of the coaching staff in the matches that the team will play.
This last weekend, he had the first experience as assistant coach of the team, making his debut against the U-19 Team of the FC Barcelona in the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, which ended goalless. The game was also the returning game of one of the most promising players of FC Barcelona the south korean Lee Seung-Woo, that brought more public than the usual to the stands. At the end of the game, Lea described the experience lived as unique and was very grateful to have had such an opportunity so far.
