Kenni Thompson, keeps on her way, the 15-year player continues to dazzle week after week where she plays. This week, still starting on the bench she returned to shake the rival defenders of UE L’Estartit, and scored a new goal that helped her team get three new points.
The game was dominated by Sant Gabriel in the first half and that allowed them to reach the half time, with a 2-0 advantage. The first goal was the result of a unfortunate play, ending with a rejection in their own goal from a player of the local team. The second goal came after a good pass into the back of the defense, leaving the forward of Sangra alone against the local keeper, surpassing her with a low shoot.
In the second half, the game followed the same script, and Sangra had the control of it. The Blues gave entrance to Kenni Thompson, at the 50 minutes and 5 minutes later she scored the 3rd goal for her team the one that gave them serenity. The goal came after get in to the local area, crossing the shot with his left foot, beating the local goalkeeper.
From that moment, Sant Gabriel, relaxed a little and this allowed L’Estartit get in to the game, managing to score two goals that put fear in Sant Gabriel players although they could finally take the 3 points.
This victory allows the team of Sant Adrià continue climbing positions in the table, and already definitely move away from the lower part. Keep it up Kenni !
