The meeting of Sergio Alfaro, goalkeeper of SOCCER Stages, with the U-17 national team of Costa Rica on the Spanish territory, now enters in its final phase after two weeks of concentration and the dispute of six games.
Throughout these two weeks of concentration, the Ticos, has faced teams of high level, in order to prepare the classification for the next World Cup of the category the following year in India, and gain more experience playing against rivals from such level.
The first game played, ended with a wide victory by 6-0 against one team of Valencia CF in Asia. The second game, was without a doubt the most expected and important, playing against the U-17 Spanish National Team, which is preparing the European U-17 which will take place this summer. The result was 4-1 for the Spanish team. After a weak first half, in the second, the Costa Ricans, managed to settle in the game.
The rest of the matches played, were against the U-17 teams of Valencia CF and Elche CF, cleared with defeats by 4-2 and 3-1 respectively.
No doubt the experience by Sergio along these days, has been incredible and has allowed him to face big teams defending the colors of his country, something that still makes you feel most proud. The progress experienced training with WOSPAC, is paying off.
